Dear valued Argon Law clients,
How are you doing right now? It certainly has been a challenging few months this year, with things changing daily for all of us.
Against this disquieting backdrop of the global COVID-19 outbreak, we wanted to let you know that the team at Argon Law is continuously adapting to mitigate potential impacts for our clients.
With this letter we want to share with you some of the main actions we are taking to ensure your safety and that of our employees during the COVID-19 outbreak.
In the background we are working on mobilising our business continuity plans, monitoring and responding to economic developments and physical conditions.
Please be reassured that Argon Law is open for business and we are here to support you, your families and your businesses.
THE SAFETY OF OUR CLIENTS : Non-Contact Meetings
Much of our legal work has been undertaken very effectively for many years using electronic communication such as personal video conferencing, document sharing, telephone and email.
We will continue to serve you in this manner and where needed, can assist you in understanding and using any media that may be unfamiliar to you.
Sometimes however, it is important to meet face to face for more complex matters or for the execution and witnessing of documents.
These essential meetings will be arranged with vigilant dedication to safe distancing, the sanitisation of our hands, office meeting room, doors, and writing instruments for mutual protection.
We will personalise arrangements with you prior to any scheduled face to face meetings.
THE SAFETY OF OUR EMPLOYEES
In line with our “Safety First” principle, we are following the guidelines laid down by our Directors. This includes making sure that we operate in accordance with the strictest protocols of the official authorities.
Our staff are taking the utmost care to keep themselves, our workplace environment and surrounds clean and sanitary.
We have issued a set of protective guidelines relating to social distancing and hygiene, as well as HR procedures for quarantine and sick leave.
Remote operations have long been a part of Argon Law, with efficient, effective and sophisticated remote operations flexibility built into our organisational structure.
We are well placed to ensure business continuity as we comply with social distancing guidelines and directives from Australian authorities.
Government Support
Most of you are aware that over the weekend the Commonwealth Government updated its economic response to the COVID-19 pandemic, announcing what is now a $189 billion consolidated package o fiscal and balance sheet support to assist businesses and individuals. If you need to find out more about the economic stimulus package and how it might benefit you, this is a great starting point: https://treasury.gov.au/coronavirus
Should you need assistance in navigating and interpreting this or any progressive communication from the Government, please contact me or one of my team members on 07 5443 9988.
Thank you for your trust and cooperation. I wish you all a safe and successful passage through these difficult circumstances.
