Argon Law congratulates all Sunshine Coast citizens and groups nominated in the 2016 Sunshine Coast Australia Day Awards.
Well done to Sunshine Coast Legal Service (SCLS) which is the Community Group of the Year award winner! SCLS provides complimentary advice, referrals and education to Sunshine Coast community members who can’t otherwise afford to access legal services. John Gallagher of Argon Law is one of a number of Sunshine Coast lawyers who volunteer their time through this valued local legal service. We would also like to congratulate the members of the Buderim 9 Challenge organising committee for their nomination in the same category – Community Group of the Year. The small team of volunteers work hard throughout the year in developing and delivering the Buderim 9 Challenge, an annual 76km cycling event, organised by Sunshine Coast Cycling Club and sponsored by Argon Law, covering nine hills around Buderim raising funds for the Cerebral Palsy League. The 2015 December event raised more than $16,000 in support of Sunshine Coast families living with cerebral palsy and related physical disabilities.
Well done to all winners and nominees – the Coast is a better place because of the wonderful people who volunteer their time and efforts on community projects and services for the benefit of the region.
