Sunshine Coast commercial law firm, Argon Law, has taken the next big step towards sustainability by switching to solar energy to run their Maroochydore office.
John Gallagher, founding director at Argon Law, is delighted to see this lasting green footprint come to fruition on the Primary School Court building.
“With the support of our landlord, Palmyra on Primary’s Martin Kurvink, we had 72 solar panels installed on the building’s roof – enough to provide well over 100% green energy for the running of the office,” John said.
“Not only is this significant step in line with our company values of “encouraging initiative and innovation”, it will also make a positive difference to our bottom line to, saving us $4000 annually.
“For our team, the provision of solar energy demonstrates the tangible difference we can make to our environment – both micro and macro – it’s a big step for us, and a small but meaningful contribution to our global footprint.
“Similarly, we are working towards our goal of going paperless. We still have a way to go, however, encouragingly more and more or our communication is digital, saving an enormous amount of paper, ink and electrical output as well as archiving space!”
The values which Argon Law dedicates itself to include:
John believes he and his team of eight staff, are living these values in earnest.

“For our staff, we pride ourselves in working well in a flexible and efficient environment. Five out of our eight staff, work in non-traditional 9-5 arrangements, both in and away from the Maroochydore office, providing satisfying and enjoyable working livelihoods.
