Argon Law has joined the herd this year as a sponsor of TOOMOO 220 – a challenging annual charity bike ride taking place on the May long weekend. The 220km ride starts in Toowoomba and takes a full day to ride ‘down’ to Mooloolaba (albeit with 2000m of elevation to climb thrown in as well).
It’s a challenge in the true sense – hard work, perseverance and setting goals. These attributes ring true to us at Argon Law and is one of the reasons why we have chosen to support TOOMOO 220 and its philanthropic objectives via The Good Wheel – the cyclists’ charity, “working to advance the reputation of cyclists as caring, compassionate individuals prepared to contribute to the broader community in a meaningful and tangible manner.”
Argon Law are the “cownsellors” of the ride, sponsoring the support mascot “cows”. It’s a bit of light-hearted fun with a serious belief in the true grit of the riders and the value of high-spirited cow supporters, who provide encouragement and sustenance all along the 220km course.
At Argon Law we are committed to giving back to the communities we serve on the Sunshine Coast. Whether it’s providing volunteer legal advice, supporting the growth of tertiary education, or helping fund vital support to those with illness and physical disabilities we believe the expression “good corporate citizenship” must be tangible, meaningful and collaborative.
